Increase in Fees Update - September 22nd, 2024

Please be advised that effective October 1, 2024 the Association of Psychologists of Nova Scotia (APNS) has set the recommended fee for psychological services provided by Psychologists registered with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology at $225 per hour. This increase will take effect at our practice as of January 1st, 2025.

Tantallon Fires Update - June 10th, 2023

We are happy to announce that Marilyn and Sheynaz have returned to their homes and will be resuming in person sessions at her office starting this week.  

We appreciate the kind words and support we have received from clients, friends and family during this difficult time. 

Tantallon Fires Update - June 8th, 2023

Halifax Fires & Emergency Management has made the following announcement:

 

"the municipality will announce a confirmed date and time for when most residents in Phase 3, whose homes are outside of the area of significant impact, can return to their homes. it is anticipated that the return date and time will be prior to the afternoon of Friday, June 9."  

Marilyn's home and practice is in the Phase 3 area.

 

We will provide an update again once there is more news.

Tantallon Fires Update - June 7th, 2023

Marilyn has been advised by the authorities that the area she lives in is not expected to be opened for approximately 6 to 10 days as of yesterday, June 6th. 

 

We will update here once it is announced that the evacuation order has been lifted, and expect that Marilyn and Sheynaz will be able to resume in person sessions not long after this has happened.

Tantallon Fires Update - May 30th, 2023

 

Marilyn, Sheynaz, their families and fur babies are safe.

They have temporarily relocated due to evacuation in the subdivision where the Tantallon fires are occurring.

 

Our hearts go out to our clients, their families and loved ones during this difficult time.

 

Marilyn and Sheynaz will continue to offer their services as Telehealth sessions until further notice.

Grateful for the courage of all of the emergency folks who are battling this fire in such difficult and dangerous conditions and those who are supporting them 🙏🏼❤️ 

 

Grateful for the animal rescuers 🐾  out there saving our fur babies ❤️🙏🏼
